Overview
Delegates will develop an understanding of how to assess risk in cases of high risk domestic abuse and the role that MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) plays within this process. Please note some people may find the content upsetting; support is available from your manager or the employee assistant program

This is suitable for all staff in CYPS and HAS. Other staff may also attend.

  • Honour Abuse
  • Coercive Control
  • Non-fatal strangulation
  • Trauma
  • Ending a relationship - A time of increased risk
What Will I Learn?
After attending this course delegates will have a better understanding of the importance of MARAC and when to refer in, understand MARAC thresholds and gain confidence in the process.
